RaWiri Community Garden

The RaWiri Community Garden Project has been designed with a new concept with raised beds. The garden is more open for easy access for residents and our elderly. The purpose for our Community Garden is for residents or others wanting to grow a small garden on their property. Children and residents etc... learn to grow healthy vegetables and this includes from garden to table. The RaWiri Cooking Classes are using the vegetables from the garden and residents are able to pick from the garden. This has been a successful and exciting project.
